Fleeting Feelings
When I step into the room,
I see you
When you step away,
I see you
My ray My shine
My dream that seeps into you,
Disappear
Into that wind
Disappear
From my skin
Disappear
From my persistent
Fleeting Feelings.
One word
I'm hurt
One taste
And I can't seem to stop.

Stop feeling
These fleeting feelings.
One step
Toward you
One step
Into this darkness
One stepIs all it takes
To bring me back to you.
One jump
One leap
One climb
One crawl away
Are these three stems
Of hatred, anger and joy
Because I can't breathe.
My teeth clench crimson
The colour of your tears,
I don't know how to respond,
I don't know why I respond
My hands have the scars to prove it.
How do I stop myself from feeling you?
Your touch
The smile that you bring to my lips when I pick you up and put you against my skin. When I drag you across my arms.
You treacherous blade,
STOP!
Stop enticing me into hurting myself more than I already do.
You say you love me but you don't.
You love what you make me feel.
You love that I'm helpless when it comes to you
You visit me every day
Every minute
Every second
Every fleeting millisecond.
Breathe
I am going to fight you.
I am going to keep fighting you.
I am going to stay right here.
And say no.
Because
We are so much more,
Breezing through life,
Pretty as a picture
Vibrant as the colour of my eyes,
Stay
I need you
Stay
You need me
Stay
Because without you,
I disappear.
